Bill and Andy go it alone in their review of the second episode of Gurren Lagann. How will this review go without Josh there to sing the praises of this anime? Actually, they have a good talk about the depiction of LGBT characters in anime and break down the happenings of Episode 2, “I Said I’m Gonna Pilot That Thing!”
Well, we’ve put the new season off long enough. We’re back with a brand new season, which means a brand new anime! It’s Josh’s time to choose a show, and he’s picked the more recent anime Gurren Lagann. Bill and Andy have a rough time getting through this first episode, but the show has to get better, right? …Right?
Our apologies for this being a day late. Andy’s been editing these last several episodes himself, and a lot has come up around his home life and work. We’re finally bringing you our review of the Trigun movie! Yes, this week we talk all about Badlands Rumble, which is an interesting film experience that we can sum up as a really long episode of Trigun! Hope you enjoy! We may take next week off so Andy can recover from Gen Con and getting accustomed to being back at work. For now, enjoy our newest episode!

From now until August 31st, we’ll release a bonus episode alongside our regular release for each new Patreon backer! Here’s our first bonus episode, a collection of bloopers from Season 2, Episodes 1-7 of our Trigun reviews! As always, due to language and subject manner, listener discretion is advised.
Bill, Josh, and Andy say their final goodbye to Trigun. This week they talk about some of their favorite moments, episodes, and characters. Josh and Bill also go head-to-head in Trigun trivia! We discuss the schedule for the next few months as well at the end of this episode.
It feels like we just started our reviews of Trigun, but we’ve reached the bittersweet ending, “Under the Sky So Blue.” This week we tried something a bit different and conducted our review while watching the episode. You can (sort of) follow along as we review it, and due to the nature of this experiment, there’s far less editing involved this time around. Let us know what you think of the format, and we’ll be back next week with our final thoughts on Trigun!
