2018 might be nearing it’s end, but we’re only at the halfway point for Wolf’s Rain. This week the crew is back together and talking about Episode 14, “The Fallen Keep.” We once again have a great episode! It looks like things are on the up and up, and Andy couldn’t be happier! Be prepared for a boatload of exposition and some really cool fight scenes!
It’s that time again! The boys (yes, all three of them) are back together, and they’ve got a double dose of Wolf’s Rain reviews! This week Josh goes over the events of Episode 12, “Don’t Make Me Blue,” and Andy has the deets on Episode 13, “Men’s Lament.” Things seem to be turning around a bit as all three of the hosts really dug these episodes for their own reasons. Go watch the episodes and then join us as we still try to figure out just who Lady Jaguara really is.
We’re back to a three man crew as Thurk steps into the studio to experience Wolf’s Rain for the very first time. Unfortunately, this isn’t the best episode to introduce the story thus far. This week we review Episode 10, “Moon’s Doom,” and basically the wolves get lost in a bland forest and fight bugs. Oh yeah, and Hige and Toboe get all horny. That’s about it. We still have a blast talking about the episode and other things anyway, so stop what you’re doing and give this episode a listen!
Better late than never, right? This week you get not one, but two episode reviews of Wolf’s Rain. This time around Josh and Bill review Episode 8, “Song of Sleep,” and then Bill pulls some wicked witchcraft and brings in Andy and gets rid of Josh for Episode 9, “Misgivings.” One episode is boring, and nothing happens aside from Cheza getting some new boots, and the other is a tender spotlight episode about Blue. We hope you enjoy!
Apologies for being late again! We’re going to try and move our release days to Thursdays to allow some needed time to put together and produce the show. This week it’s just Andy and Bill since Josh is off getting married and shit. It’s Andy’s week to review his choice for Season 4, and he and Bill have an absolute blast trying to make sense of what’s going on. There are massive airship battles, a dandeleon flower maiden, and horny wolves in this week’s episode of Wolf’s Rain, “The Flower Maiden.”
This week we review the second half of a really good Wolf’s Rain two parter, “The Successors.” Your hosts have a lot of fun this episode, which is just good to see since Josh has been sour on some of the initial episodes. Listen to find out what Kiba and the rest of the wolves do after witnessing the townspeople enslaving what’s left of Zali’s pack. Oh yeah, and we have an unexpected guest host.
